  1. For some reason, my afro keep falling down. Sometimes it good but how do
you get it to stand up like that. XD i am a guy.

  2. WHAT? OMG, but thank you SO much. I know I put myself out there with my
videos in general, but this was a whole different level of vulnerability! I
did not know what to expect in terms of the comments I would get, so it is
really good to hear all of this positive feedback. Now will I be able to
work up the courage to rock it outside? How am I going to keep the back
from being dented and the sides from drawing up? Where is the stylist who
did Sweetness’s hair from “Roll Bounce” when u need him?

  3. Thanks so much!!!! I agree with you 100%. I can’t take it anywhere until I
can confidently rock it ALL the way. I like the idea of pinning back the
side. However, I am struggling with the fact that the back has dents, the
top flops, and the sides keep drawing up. Where is Sweetness’s stylist from
    “Roll Bounce”? 🙂

  4. Thanks so much! I was almost scared to read the comments because I did not
know what to expect. I put myself out there with my videos, but this is a
whole other level of vulnerability! Right now I am just trying to work up
the courage to wear it outside. 🙂

  5. Thanks so much! I am not sure.. . Afros are hard to control, and I like
control and consistency. 🙂 I promised my husband that I would wear it out
sometime soon, so we shall see. BTW, I got your video. Thanks so much! I
    really appreciate it.

  6. Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. However, sometimes it feels safer
to hide “it” under something because I don’t know if it will behave when it
is windy, rainy or humid. I like to try to be cute, so I don’t want to wind
up somewhere looking crazy, especially when the back is prone to dents. 🙂

  7. Omg,do you know how beautiful you look!?! Your fro is gorgeous! Of course
you can rock your fro.I LOVE wearing my big, natural hair and I always get
compliments.I also love the carefree maintenance along with embracing
    natural beauty:-)

  8. Thanks, and surprisingly, I have been! Check out my latest videos to see my
afro evolution. I cannot believe how confidently I have been rocking it.
With all of the compliments, my sons are starting to like it a little
better. 🙂 I will post a pic of me sporting a full 70’s look on my
website’s blog when my husband and I went out dancing. It is amazing that I
never would have seen myself rocking an afro in 2013!

  9. Thank you so much. Now let’s see if I make it out of the house with it out.
    🙂

  10. Hi, I am doing twists overnight now to maintain my afro, which I have worn
out for the last seven days. Yay!!!!! I really love it. Thanks for the
    advice.

  11. Thanks so much! I agree on the confidence point – it is going to take more
than the usual confidence I have when I am rocking the
conservative/controlled hairstyles I am used to. An afro, especially where
    I live, is definitely an attention-getter – a stone-cold, break-your-neck
head turner, so I need to get ready for this upfront. The whole natural
hair thing is an adjustment for me (1st time natural in 38 yrs), so I think
the confidence needed will come in time. Thx again!

  12. Out here on NY we wear fro and all other kinda ” whateva u like” hairstyles
    😉

  13. If you say so, I am working on my confidence as we speak! Thanks for the
age compliment. I always appreciate those, which is why my first trip out
of the house with it will probably be to a stylist to get the gray colored.
The Gray Away is getting on my nerves, and I am going through it by the
    boatload! 🙂

  14. Thanks so much, I will try! Trying to figure out how to keep the back from
being dented and the sides from drawing up. Where is the stylist who did
Sweetness’s hair from “Roll Bounce” when u need him or her???? 🙂

  15. I just saw your video. My sisters and I have been wearing afros and bush’s
for years. I’m in my late 50s and have been natural all my life. You can
wear that style just have the right mind set and style to go with it. ‘

  16. Thanks! I don’t know how to braid… 🙁 Can you recommend any videos that
demonstrates the twist out that you are thinking might work for me?

  17. Nice! Hey how do you hold your hair in the ponytail you wear? Do you use
bobby pins or a lair tie or combs to keep it pinned back? Your hair looks
so thick and full and almost like whipped cream! I think it is beautiful.
